Wong Kar Wai's The Grandmasters [Trailer]

I used to be a huge Wong Kar Wai fan, but my interest in his films began to wane around the time 2046 came out (and he parted ways with his longtime cinematographer, Christopher Doyle). He's an amazing director, but the lack of a cohesive narrative in his films began to feel more like like a glaring weakness that just a style.



I'm not exactly sure what's going on here, but there seems to be a narrative at play and Wong's visuals looks as stylish as ever. I might be back on the Wong Kar Wai bandwagon...I'm really looking forward to this one...
